Deadstock fabrics are those that have either been produced in excessive quantities or ordered in surplus by designers and fashion houses, and are typically destined for disposal. By utilizing deadstock fabrics, we save on water and greenhouse gas emissions that would be generated in the production of new materials. Which means, the reuse of deadstock fabrics automatically reduces textile waste. Due to the limited availability of these materials, unique and individualized fashion pieces can be created.
